This policy explains what information Running for Views (https://runningforviews.com) collects and how it is used.
What we collect
This site does not use advertising trackers or ask you to create an account. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to run the site securely and keep it working.
We also use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies and does not store your IP address. It records the page you viewed, the site that sent you here, and general details such as your country, device type and browser, so we can see which pages are useful.
Email signup
If you join our email list, we collect your email address to send you the updates you signed up for. Our email list is run by Kit, which stores your address and sends our emails on our behalf. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. We never sell your email address.
YouTube videos
Some pages include embedded YouTube videos using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. When you play a video, YouTube (Google) may collect information according to Google's privacy policy.
Affiliate links
Some posts contain affiliate links, including Amazon links. If you click one, the retailer may use cookies to know the visit came from us. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union or UK, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To make a request, contact us through the Contact page.
Changes
We will update this page if anything changes and note the date at the top.
